At the culmination of the hero’s journey, we find ourselves transformed from what we once were into what we now are.In this way, the metaphorical tree breaking through the center of the labyrinth has become fully realized.Our roots reach deep into the ground, nourishing us with past experiences, while the knowledge we gained on our journey branches out into the light as expanded consciousness.In this garment, both “life” in the trunk of the tree and “knowledge” amongst the branches are embroidered to underscore the point.Leaves are also tastefully embroidered about the hood and body of the garment as a reminder of life’s constant state of flow and change.This is part of what it means to “Know Thyself”.
